Executive Committee
AALPS is helmed by an elected body of members that form its executive committee. Besides, the executive committee is empowered to nominate an advisory council to assist on important matters.
The current executive committee is led by its President, Maddi Venkateswar Rao, alumni of 1972.
President: Maddi Venkateswar Rao
Sri Maddi Venkateswara Rao, S/o Sri Maddi Lakshmaiah, a 1972 batch passout, is a postgraduate in Business Administration from Marshall University, West Virginia, USA. He helms the hugely successful Maddi Lakshmaiah Group of companies. By dint of his personal contacts with overseas customers, he acquired extensive knowledge of their requirements while managing operations in tobacco and oil seeds. He has been in the business since 1980. He has travelled across the world and developed strong relationships with overseas buyers, reputed business houses engaged in tobacco trading and cigarette manufacturing, as well as Cotton Linters and Hulls buyers.
